Take the passenger seat out and look from the passenger floor up. Pictures below are mine you see where the leak is at the seam. I put some flexseal up there by hand and it’s held for the last few months

I have the passenger seat out and cannot locate that area you have pictured. Do I need to remove my kick panel and/or the carpet in the forward section?

I think he took the passenger seat out to be able to get his body in a position where he could see and reach up behind the passenger dash. It's pretty far up against the firewall and you need a flashlight and maybe your phone camera to see up there.
Pulling up the carpet & side kick panel would let you suck the water up if it's still wet, and you can easily see where/when the water is pooling when you run a hose test.

I have my passenger seat out and laying my back. I can see a short section of that corner and it looks solid but need to be able to see more of it.

I'd have to look later this evening. I want to say if you run a hose on the windshield & wiper cowl, then look in that corner you'll see where it drips through the white sealant. I removed the AC blower motor and housing (not the whole ac unit) and that was a PAIN. Took 2 days of finessing it before I got it out. I want to say that wasn't necessary in the end though?

Well, the passenger side leaks very infrequently, so don't want to spend excessive effort. The driver side is my greater concern and with that seat out I cannot locate an obvious leak spot. Because I'm in my heated garage I'm limited to how much water I might pour on it.

So you won't be able to see it without putting your phone up against the firewall and pointing it up. I would recommend putting the flash on and taking a video then a bunch of pictures with the flash on. I can grab some pictures tomorrow of the orientation of the phone. But basically think about putting the phone towards the corner facing up.

I just had to deal with a driver side leak - the front of mine was wet but the water was actually coming through a rubber plug in the xtracab storage cubby under the driver rear jump seat. Some more flex seal fixed that one up... at this rate half the truck will be flex seal.

Okay, did that and I don't see any broken seal. I removed the kick panel which gave me more access. When the passenger side leaks it dampens the center of the carpeted area. But passenger side leaks infrequently, so I'm not going to spend much time on it. Now need to look more at the driver's side.
    Thank you.

Edit: I see nothing obvious on the driver's side. Time to vacuum up the dust and put it back together for now. When the weather warms, I'll run some water on the driver's side to find the source of the leak.

I do believe I solved the drafty cab concern based on this thread.

    Will soon test it out.

Definitely the hose over different areas will show it. Chasing these water leaks can be the worst.

Doesn't matter. We're continuing our conversation from earlier.

Today I removed the kick panel and pulled back the carpet. I flooded the windshield and cowl with water and spotted no leaking down the firewall. Then I ran water on the windshield seal where it's lifting up some, at the top corner where it transitions from horizontal to vertical. Now I have some water running down the black wrapped wires on the LH side, where the flashlight is spotting.

It seems I need to have the windshield removed and replaced with a new seal. I may temporarily pack it with strip calk to control the leak until I can complete the repair.

Good find! Of all possible leaks the windshield is probably the best one. Took the glass guys like 30min to replace mine… $150

the outer weather strip is pretty much just a dust seal....
The entire backside of glass is siliconed down to the A pillar frame perimeter of the truck...

Wednesday morning I'm taking the truck to a local glass replacement company to get a quote to seal this up. I suspect the windshield will have to come out and they won't guarantee they won't break the glass. So, I might end up with a new windshield glass.

If it's just a dust shield, then the windshield install is compromised elsewhere. I'll let you all know how it pans out.

youre not understanding what im saying...
The outer lip is just a dust shield...
Yes, you adding silicone may have kept some water out, but thats not the waterproof seal...
The glass is glued / sealed / siliconed to the actual metal frame that it sits on, thats what keeps the water out...

It rare that the glass will break, but they cover their asses by disclosing so theres no surprises & they're not on the hook for buying you new glass.

I understand what you are saying, thank you. It does seem the glass needs to come out to be resealed.
