    I have some time of leak from under my engine more towards the back. Don't know what it could be thought someone might have an idea.

    auto tranny? sounds like burnt tranny fluid but you really need to define your question more or show some pics.

    could also be a p/s hose/rack leak, check your fluids to see if any are low.

    Take some brake cleaner and hose off all the oil, then with the area clean try to track down where the leak is coming from.

    Pictures of the leak will also help if you can get some.

    Take it to a shop, IMO. If you're not confident enough to know how to tell tranny fluid from oil from coolant, etc... you best just take it to a professional and have them check it out.

    Not trying to bag on the OP, just trying to be realistic. I have no problems taking my truck to a professional when a problem gets beyond my level of comfort.
