so as I was replacing a faulty s/c belt and I found my skid place wet and a leaking hose. Just had major work done to the steering rack and new gas tank. Are these gas lines? Sitting at autozone parking lot. Getting cold and can’t seem to find using search function, cold hands

edit: looks like the hose is transmission cooler. hoping my water pump isn't going out causing the line to leaking the belt to have early failure. belt is only a little over 2 yrs old (it did look a little cracked).

yes to the supercharger. and that is the hose. It was wet, didn't feel like oily at all. Didn't seem to have water pouring down from above. hoses around were dry. will have to continue to investigate. truck running fine, temps are good, no ECU codes. thanks for reply.

Was that hose removed during the steering rack work??

If the rack was removed quite possible those lines were removed or pulled out of the way

Possible it is was never wiped off .

    Transmission Fluid low at all??

I would say throw a new hose clamp on it, clean it off and see if it still leaks.

Coolant level ok. Need to check on trans fluid this morning (automatic, 4.0 v6). I’m hoping just a clamp not tighten well after the rack work.
