leaking some sort of fluid that stinks

okayi looked under the truck to day this is what i got : i look under the truck and the what ever it is ( fluid ) is leaking from the top side of the converter ( on the driver side ) running down the side of the heat shild and then dripping on the converter and then burning and making some stink ass smell im going to remove the heat shild and see if i can locate where the fluid is coming from . i got some samples of break of break fluid and burned it and the same with power stering and its not the same smell . so my only other guess is its coming from the stearing gear box ? .............. any one think of anything elses or agree ?
