I'm not an expert by any stretch with this lifting stuff. But something just doesn't seem right here.

The end of December i paid to have a 3" skyjacker lift put on. Two weeks afterwards I noticed a puddle under the front right side. The strut was leaking. I'm not that clueless and knew that this wansn't normal. Took the truck back and shop said it must have been one that sat on a shelf for a long time and they would replace it. They did, and behold, it started leaking too. Had that replaced (We are on number 3 if you are counting) FAST FORWARD-->

Here it is, about six weeks later. I thought my trouble was over with. No, not really. Saw spotting under that same side and yep, strut is leaking. If I had hair, I'd be pulling it out by now. WTF? Is there a possibility something is wrong with the truck to cause this? There was never a problem with factory strut. I'm not sure i want to try strut number 4 from same company. But what else are my options?

it's skyjacker struts, and yes i'm sure. that's the first thing i looked at thinking that was the problem. The shop here in Mobile confirmed that it is the strut. Went back today, and they said they were calling the company to speak with a tech rep before putting another one on again.

Struts with the stock springs. So far they have done all 3 at no cost. Can't complain about that. Just frustrating. They said that they have never had this problem before, and i can't find anybody that has. I swear i have the worst luck.

hey and just fyi, skyjacker is no longer what they used to be. They outsourced their shocks/strut production overseas. From what I have heard and seem their new stuff is garbage.
