Never lease unless you intend to buy it at some point. I bought my truck because the finance payment was so high, and the lease interest rate was low, so it made sense. I couldn't find a nicely used one, So I leased one with full intention of buying.

If you don't intend to keep it DON'T LEASE.

I would never recommend leasing just because you have nothing at the end of the lease. At least at the end of financing, the vehicle is yours and you can get a big portion of your money back by selling the truck or just keep it and stash the extra 'no car payment' cash away to buy your next truck in cash. Leasing is a rip-off where the dealer wins. There is a reason why the interest rate is usually not disclosed in leasing.

well, i have decided that i am just going to sack up and fix the truck and drive it for a while longer.

    thanks for yalls info.

just a question, about how much should a front bearing replacement cost? $1,500? $2,000?

I'm not a fan of leasing a vehicle unless it's for a business and you can write it off. Either keep the truck you have and pay it off or trade it in on the purchase of a new one but a lease is just not a good way to get in to a new rig.

    BEST DECISION....:yay:

Now make those payments as long as you can past the payoff date and you will be in a much better position to pay cash for a new model year..

Fixing is less expensive than replacing at times

I don;t think bearings would cost that much.......Less than $1000 would be my guess ( a couple car paymenst lOL
