Hi. I just purchased a 2021 cement SR5. Is it possible to put led bulbs into the traditional factory headlights? I was not sure if you could replace the bulbs or if you had to get a completely near headlight out in.

tried the GE Mega 130 and my Diedo Dynamics out perform them and the stock halogen. A quality LED light like the ones I use are awesome. I see better, further and wider on these back roads. Never been flashed!

Don't do it - just replace the fixtures with ones designed for LED. Either OEM or Morimoto XB, but that's about it.

    - SIGNED, someone who used to do this in my 2017 and had really bad glare/night visibility problems.

Get a quality led like DD and they will serve you well. I wasted my money on one of the best halogen bulbs like the GE s and they sucked compared to my LEDs

I know this is an old(er) post, but can't find much here about these bulbs. How do you like them? Wondering if @crashnburn80 can compare the specs and visual attributes of these vs. the Ultra's to advise/speculate on their performance?

Edit: @crashnburn80, nevermind. Just found this: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ctor-headlights.589465/page-223#post-25218968

Looks like the Ultra comes out on top.

Still working great about 4 months in, no issues with these Hikari bulbs. I'm sure if you did a head to head with some other bulb you could find the light pattern is slightly this or that or the brightness is this or that but I just don't care. I turn them on, everything seems lit up nicely down the road with a nice white light. I hesitated for a long time I guess due to paralysis-by-analysis. I finally just bought them and they're great.
