Anyone changed out their dome lights with LED?

If so, where did you get them and what model?

Would like some brighter lighting in there. WHITE.

I purchased mine from superbrightleds.com and its a festoon bulb, just use the conversion chart and it will tell you what bulb to get. I am very happy with the results. I changed my map lights and dome light, and it will blind you at night. Good luck.:D

Well, in that case give it a shot. hopefully you will have more detail then what is given. I dont remember the dome (the rectanguler one) having only one pointy end (that must be for polarity). My map lights are not bayonets.

You might pull your bulbs and see how they match up.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
What's wrong with Ebay? I have bought $1000's of dollars in products from Ebay with no issues. Yeah every so often you might buy A product you don't like but I have had nothing but good experiences on Ebay. i buy products for Hong Kong all the time why pay the markup when most of the products you but are made there anyway. I say buy from the source and save some money.

I have converted just about all my lights in my truck to LED's that i bought on Ebay and they look great.

^^^ I have that exact same model - except as a dome light, it doesn't seem to get enough power as it's extrememly dim - as a map light (with ignition on) it's bright as hell. Dome light without the truck on, its not even as bright as a regular bulb.

check out my build thread...best LEDs you will find for your dome. yes you have to trim to fit and do a little custom wiring, but you will not be better results from anything else!

Has anyone figured out how to make the LED dome lights bright while the key is not on?
