    I wonder how long the battery powered ones last? LEDs use so little power, probably a hell of a long time.

    They do indeed. One thing to keep in mind, the RED and AMBER colored LEDs draw more current and thus result in a slightly shorter battery life. We cannot say exactly how long is long... Everyone will use their light differently...

    For those holding out for the wired version, your wait is hopefully coming to an end soon. We will announce the 12V wired version production information as soon as we can conclusively prove the design for reliability and finalize the installation procedure. Once the green light is given, expect at least three weeks for the initial units to become available.

    We have discussed offering paint colors other than the OEM silver... At this point, only 3 people have asked and we unfortunately cannot justify purchasing new paint for such a small demand. If however, 20 or 30 members start requesting colored cases, we'll look at this again.

    We have already entertained the idea of matching the TOYOTA exterior paint colors... So far, the idea is cost prohibitive. Demand?

    I have to toss my hat in along with the folks that would prefer to have a hard wired version that could be dimmed with the factory dimmer wheel as well. I'd be more interested in a way to mount it inside the panel that yours attaches to making it invisible until the lights are actually used. Drilling a couple of appropriately sized holes to allow the light through would be acceptable to me. In the end, applause for your innovation and motivation. Hope it works out to be a success for you when it's all said and done.
