    Pre-Order List for the V2W wired LED light (FYI-BLACK cases are NOT yet available but are expected by early 2012. In talks with our painter - received two samples which are currently being evaluated)

    Operational / Technical Specifications of the V2W:
    1. Primary power comes from the Tacoma's 12V lighting circuit via two wire taps.
    2. Power is controlled by turning the Tacoma's lighting ON/OFF.
    3. The unit will ONLY illuminate when the 3-position slide switch is moved to either the middle (primary ON) or right (secondary ON) positions.
    4. Light instensity of the Primary and Secondary LEDs is adjusted by adjusting the Tacoma's dimmer. Fine-tuning the intensity is achieved by lightly touching the Touch-Sensitive Dimming Control (TSDC) circuit.
    5. TSDC halo illumination color and intensity is affected by the Tacoma's dimmer circuit.
    6. When dismounted, the unit automatically switches to onboard batteries for remote lighting needs in the middle (primary ON) and right (secondary ON) positions.

    The V2W will turn ON/OFF with the Tacoma light control. The onboard batteries will ONLY be used when the V2W is magnetically dismounted (and the 3-position switch is in the middle or right positions).

    On 2005-2011 models, (we expect this entire run is the same as 2007-2008) we'll have you connect to the wires on the back of the HVAC control module. We will post the procedure on www.flyzeye-designs.com/installation.html as soon as the V2W becomes available - which should be sometime this week.

    I've heard through the grapevine that you just installed the new, black, hard wired version of your product on a 2012 Tacoma, today. The 2012 Tacoma owner said the black unit "looks factory" and "matches perfectly in color" to his interior plastic. He says the hard wired unit works flawlessly on his 2012 and looks terrific. Can you give tell us more now that the install has been done on a 2012 Tacoma? Is the wiring / install on the 2012 fairly easy, etc.. [​IMG]

    My understanding is that the most difficult part of the install on the 2012s is getting the HVAC module out to access the wires. Apparently, the wire code is the same.:)

    Not quite. Retail for the V2W is $59.75 + $7.25 shipping. For TW & XRU, subtract $10.00. Military, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, etc., subtract $10.00. Repeat customers, also subtract $10.00.

    Each discount requires verification / proof to receive.

    FYI: The V2W is not yet available (in either case color) for general ordering. We are experiencing supplier issues. We do however, expect these issues to be resolved very soon.

    Operational / Technical Specifications of the V2W:
    1. Primary power comes from the Tacoma's 12V lighting circuit via two wire taps.
    2. Power is controlled by turning the Tacoma's lighting ON/OFF.
    3. The unit will ONLY illuminate when the 3-position slide switch is moved to either the middle (primary ON) or right (secondary ON) positions.
    4. Light instensity of the Primary and Secondary LEDs is adjusted by adjusting the Tacoma's dimmer. Fine-tuning the intensity is achieved by lightly touching the Touch-Sensitive Dimming Control (TSDC) circuit.
    5. TSDC halo illumination color and intensity is affected by the Tacoma's dimmer circuit.
    6. When dismounted, the unit automatically switches to onboard batteries for remote lighting needs in the middle (primary ON) and right (secondary ON) positions.
