LED lighting on door locks....!!!!

I mean I mod xboxs and playstations with plexi windows and LEDS alot.

Could we just splice into the lock wire and use it as power? Or is that just a signal for the lock and doesn't hold a constant charge when unlocked?

my 2008 eight doesnt auto lock, i dont think i have ever locked it from inside..... i just lay my glock in my lap when in shady land



edit: forgot to say cool mod! is it always on? or goes on when unlocked and off when locked??? jk that would be pimp tho you should rig it up

 

I know , ive been thinking about it after everyones comment, i think i might give it a shot this weekend.

 

That's sick. I'd be cool if you could have them light up when the doors are unlocked and vice versa.
