    Sloth,

How did you make out with the lights? Did people buy them? Are you still selling? Were you able to figure out set pricing? I may want to purchase if still available?

    Thanks

    Tim

Yep I'm still selling them and I'm still getting some business. Sorry that I didn't update the OP but I have now. The prices are set in the OP. They are still available. :D

Just out of curiosity is that your truck with the set of lights going around the inside of the bed? I was wondering exactly what I would need to wire all the way around like that. It looks like 3 pairs of lights but how much wire etc. ? What would final cost be for something like that?

So what you would need would be the following:
3x Pairs of Cool White 10" Rigid LED Bars (Sold by Me)
    1x 12v/Ground 6' Connector (Sold by Me)
    2x Bar-to-Bar 1' Connector (Sold by Me)
2x Bar-to-Bar 5' Connector (If using 5 or more Rigid Bars) (Sold by Me)
    Molding Tape
    Waterproof Clear Silicone
Zip Ties (At Least 4 Inches)
    1" Zip Tie Square Mounts
Black Conduit (The smallest you can find)
Single Throw Single Pole Switch of Your Choosing
~20' of Wiring (Recommended Solid Copper not Stranded)
    Black Electrical Tape
    * Recommended Wire Hanger if you are using an aftermarket fusebox
    * Fuse Tap (Add-A-Circut) If you do not have an aftermarket fusebox

It would run you about $137.88+Shipping from me and then the rest of the things that you need from a local store.
Here's a write up that I put together for more information: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/154477-diy-how-led-strip-bed-lights.html

Would I be better off with the flexible lights? If I were dumping things like bin of corn on the ear or bins of sweet potatoes in the bed would the flexible ones withstand that beating better or are the rigid ones fairly durable. I just don't want to mess them up after all of that work and $ paid.

    Thanks

The rigid ones are pretty solid. It would probably protect the LEDs more from the impact then the flexible ones. If you are still worried about them you can put a piece of plexiglass over them too

So what would you say was the final cost with all of the other stuff combined? Would it be cheaper to just run a roll of the flexible lights all the way around instead of using all of those wires in between? Or would that be too bright, just wondering?

I don't think that it would be too bright. I can get you a 16 foot long strip of cool white for around $140.

Those on oznium that you have linked to are the SMD 3528 (Single-Chip LEDs) Strip. Mine are SMD 5050 (Tri-Chip LEDs) Strip. I've seen the demos for both of them side to side and the SMD 5050 is considerably brighter. We considered selling the SMD 3528 at around the same price as oznium but we figured more people would just want the brighter one and it wasn't worth keeping in stock.

Thanks for the reply. Agreed 100%

I figured there was a difference. I don't mind paying more for a better product and brighter is always better.

    I'll be ordering from you

    Thanks!

It really depends on how much interest I can get for people buying them. They are extremely bright! It's blinding to look at them even in the daylight. They are probably going to be 80 or 90 each
