What are the Texas laws about running pods and light bars, day or night?

On a road? I think the law is clear that it makes you an A hole.

    Yes,
Well, aftermarket lights on the street are against the law. The popo will write a ticket every time. Off road, you can turn on as many lights you can find a space for.

Why do you need to have them turned on on the street?

If I'm in the middle of no where (without street lights) I'll run my ambers in addition to my headlights since it gives me a little more but no reason for me to turn on the mini sun on my roof.

Laws are clear ticket for any aftermarket light.

    Nothing yet....im a poor bastard.
4.....Four is the max you can run on the front of your vehicle on the road. AND have to be a certain height off the ground and below a certain height to be legal. NOT SURE what those numbers are.
So, if you run say your fog lights and a light bar ( that is higher than the fogs and lower than the head lights)....technically you're legal. But that also depends on the LEO.
