I’m looking to get some new headlights and I found an led projector with a halo that I like but idk if I should go with that. It would be nice because I can make the halos my turn signal since I just installed a steel bumper and have the original signals just zip tied on. Let me know what you think or if you think there’s a better way to go, thanks. https://www.carid.com/1997-toyota-t...ctangular-halo-led-headlights-2650008714.html

Or BXBuilt are the two options I know of for projectors.

    Turn signal mod:

Just cut off the mount from the turn signal housing and do a little trimming and shaping with a dremel, then epoxy them in place. Some people will cut the shape to mount the bulb right into the housing, but this seemed a little easier and less likely to leak.

For my turn signal I think I’m going with this idea thanks! When I first thought of using the side lights for my signals I didn’t think about being able to keep them doing both signals and parking lights.

Unless you desperately need lights, keep an eye out for a sale...

I can't take credit for the idea, but it's worked well for me. My CBI bumper came with LEDs mounted in the bumper, so I just used a couple quick splices and now I have both the stock ones and the LEDs.

I don’t think they’ll because fit the side markers for a 97 look a little different than 01-04 but hopefully someone else can chime in and give you a definite answer

I put a different year side markers in my truck. I had to make a new bracket to be able to screw it down. Not sure what year they were from but it took minor modification.
