I noticed my left side brake light was turning off if I had my lights on. I run all LED bulbs. The left side also has a trailer hitch adapter on it.
I changed out the bulb. Brake light works now with the lights on or off. right side works in all modes. I also eliminated the hitch adapter and it does the same thing so its not the adapter.

The driving light (part of the brake light led) only comes on some of the time when i turn on my lights and usually only when i turn on the parking lights only, then the headlights. Once its on, its works as it should. If I go instantly to headlights, the driving light does not come on, i need to pause on the parking light for a sec, then IF that works, it will stay on when i add the headlights.

Its acting almost like a toggle. Turn on parking lights, nothing (on left taillight, all other leds work). turn off, wait 5 sec, turn on and it works fine. Turn off, wait 5 sec, turn on, nothing.
    Any ideas??

Be careful with those cheap ass Amazon LEDs. Are the superbright LEDs better? I don't know but after my near BBQ incident with Amazon LEDs, I'll skip them. The only LEDs I have are interior light/map lights and guage cluster/HVAC.

yeah, re-checked today, pulled right side bulb out, it fell apart. put normal bulb in left side, led in right, all works fine. I wias wiggling the socket on both sides and that seems to be an issue so im going to replace it all soon. but for now, i have working lights. just a dimmer left side brake.
