    These drop right on in:

If you want to really fix the confusing taillight setup, this is the ticket:

Both are sold out at the moment, but worth it.

I have stage 1 and like that if for any reason I can go back to stock if I have issues. Plenty bright and an amber turn lens is in my opinion, safer.

Highly recommend the VLEDS VTAIL kit. No delay in the switchback blinker like with the Meso total tail, and parts are actually available if you ever need them. They did design the original switchback for Meso anyways, so they definitely know what they're doing. I've used tons of VLEDS products for 3-4 years now and they are nothing but great and I've never had a single issue with any of it.

Have you looked at the brakes in the sun? I had the all-red tail lights on my 2021 (PO put them on) and both the meso and VLEDS red bulbs didn't show up super well during the day in the sun, I didn't think. They were fantastic at night though. The stock bulbs actually seemed more visible to me in the sun.

Those tail lights from the PO had some broken wings that the screwhole nuts go onto, so I ended up buying new tail lights and opted for the 2020+ TRD Pro lights. The clear lens of those made the VLEDS bulbs look much brighter during the day and as good as the stock bulbs to me. But for whatever reason I did not feel they worked very well in the red tail lights.

Of course, there is a chance the red tail lights the PO installed were maybe aftermarket and didn't do as good of a job as stock. I actually kind of want the all red ones for the looks aspect and if I ever do buy an OEM set I'll be sure to see how the bulbs compare in them.

Welcome to the forum fellow Oregonian! I went with Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn mod as well as using led bulbs in place of the incandescent bulbs from the factory. Had to add resistors to eliminate hyper flash.

I have. They're still plenty bright imo, but I have been eyeing the TRD Pro tail light housings and the limited edition clear meso ultimate tail lights.

I would like to do a comparison with the OEM red tail lights since I’m not sure if mine were OEM or Depo or something else. They were good enough but I definitely thought incandescents were more visible. Not the case on the clear lens pros though.

I wish they made a factory red tail light with a clear lens. I like the pro tail lights except for all the black. Doesn’t jive with the rest of my truck although it’s not bad, but could be better.

The Meso limited editions are cool but it may be a while before they’re ever released and I just could not spend that much money on a non serviceable light that has questionable quality control from what I’ve observed. They’re definitely cool though. Is he making the reverse bucket dual function or are there just no reverse lights? I couldn’t tell.

+1 for Meso. I have a Stage 1 kit and it makes a world of difference.

I just wish someone made a similar kit for the DRL and front turn signals.

My understanding is that the reverse and turn are dual function on the bottom similar to the total tail light kits whereas the regular version have the turn signals up top with the brake lights. That's part of the reason I wanted them (amber turns), but yes quality control and price are concerning and that's why I chose VLED stage 1's for now.

Hate to bump an old thread, maybe someone can be of assistance. Has anyone had any issues with the lifespan of the VLED’s?

Trying to eliminate a bulb issue, bad ground and or trailer harness module issue.

As of now all my fuses are good, my issue is all my running lights (front and rear) including license plate lights turn on when I hit the brake pedal.

When I turn all my lights on, all the brake lights and the 3rd up top stay on as well.

Kind of stumped at this point. Hoping someone can help.

Haven’t had any problems like that at all. Are you running the VTAIL kit? And this only started recently?

My go to first thought when weird stuff like that happens is an open or loose ground. It might be in the tail lights, but it doesn't have to be just there.

I would start by disconnecting the LED tail lights and seeing if that corrects the problem.
