Does anyone have LED driving lights? Im looking to get some driving lights for my truck, and i want them pretty bright but i dont want HID's. A bunch of my buddies have HID's on their shit ass mustangs and they blow ballasts and bulbs all day long. Any input on some good bright lights that arent hid?

    Thanks

X2. But I stay away from the SilverStar ULTRA bulbs, tried two sets and neither lasted more than a couple months.

Hmm. I'll have to look at the packaging (or better yet what's stamped on the bulbs themselves) and see what's up with that. Thanks.

I tell ya, that Chris4X4 guy, he was born with nitro glycerin and Toyota ATF fluid in his veins.

    ATF fluid..is that redundant?

I went with nitro glycerin instead of nitromethane 'cause he's always blowing something up, matter of time before we seen him orbiting Earth yelling "damn that was cool".

The Silverstars fit in the OEM headlight housings, just like stock.

Just throwing this out there to make sure, but you know you cant touch the bulb part with you fingers right? That will cause premature failure.

If you do touch it get some denatured alcohol and clean it well. Or you'll get "vertification" of the glass. Whatever that is.
