Leer 550 tonneau pics please!

Lots of pics of the leer 700 on the forum but not much in the way of the leer 550 except one owner. Is it brand new or what's the deal? How does it fair? Please post pics and help me decide which way to go ...

Here are a couple of shots of mine. I contemplated the 700 series as well and it was recc by the dealer for its bold looks, but that was the reason I didnt buy it. I prefer the flat tonneau covers. As for performance it was been great. This winter the handle on top never froze up or got any water in it. I was worried about that because the 700 series has it off the back. I will have to remove it one day for oversize loads and this is where i think i will hate it. Its not a quick "pop the shocks off and pull it out of a nice tongue and groove system" like the Raider lorider I had on my Dakota. Price one of those. They are close to the style of this one. I paid 1100 installed and tax in. Paint colour match was great.

 

I appreciate you taking the time to forward pics!...that's not your current weather in QC is it?It's like -30c here... I have the same issue with 700... Unable to find 550 here in Calgary to look at, I have been trolling the malls for Tacomas with tonneaus. the price here for base unit is 1295 with install the lorider is 1280 plus install of 80. didn't want to "shell" out that much until I could see one so thank you...your truck looks great post more pics on your gallery!

If you want an easily removeable i would check out the raider, it could be worth the extra money.

I will have more pics in my gallery for sure once my tires come in and I can get the steel rims and winter tyres off and show off the lift. There is a guy here selling a used raider lorider for 600 looks to be black. That might work for you if your up for a road trip! lol
