Just picked up a Leer 700 used locally. It was already removed from truck and I dealt with seller's wife who didn't know anything about the installation other than he replaced it with a topper. I got a big Ziploc bag full of hardware but no installation instructions. Can anyone post some close up detailed pics of how it attaches to the rails? Any tips to make installation easier? 2012 4-door short bed.

Lets see what's in the bag.
Post pictures of the included hardware.

Best bet would be to contact LEER for the PDF instructions.

I contacted Leer for help and this was their reply "LEER only authorizes and warrants installations done by Authorized LEER Dealers. Proper installation, wiring, and adjustments are best done by trained, experienced personnel. Professional installation by a LEER Dealer is a wise investment in the performance, appearance, and safety of your LEER product". Basically "Since you found a better deal than we can offer take it to our local dealer and pay them $100 to put it on". But I figured it out by myself as you can see.62017782_3310154305677061_3319195299519397888_n.jpg 62217874_3310154295677062_2187755713793622016_n.jpg

Bongo2008 would you be so kind and email me or post a picture of the inside of the bed. I have the same problem no instructions on a used tonneau cover 700 series. I just need to figure out the difference brackets and hardware. Or anyone else with a Leer 700 series tonneau cover that can post a few pictures of the inside to help me figure this out. My email is ambup1961@gmail.com. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I removed the Leer 700 hard cover over a year ago to install a Leer topper with the intention of swapping between the two as needed. But that topper is so heavy it took 4 people to lift it and put it on, so I have decided to just leave it on and sell the hard cover. The clear coat is peeling off pretty bad but you would probably want to have it painted to match your truck anyway ( I don't see many Spruce Mica trucks on the road in my travels, it's not a common color). Includes all the clamps and 2 keys. Price is $300 and location is northeast Alabama 35959. 007.jpg

I have the same issue. Do you remember how you figured it out? If you have any pictures of where it mounts to and the hardware, that would help me tremendously.
