Will a Leer 100XL camper shell off of a 2005 Tacoma Prerunner access cab fit a 2003 Tacoma access cab?

    Thanks

Everything that I can find show that Gen 1 Tacomas all have the same bed dimensions (until 2005 when the truck was modified). Is this correct?

I am looking at buying an ARE CX model from a 2001 or 2002 Tacoma ext. cab
and putting it on my 2003 Tacoma ext. cab.

Any issues that you could foresee?

The fleetside bed dimensions are the same for Regular Cabs / XtraCabs from 1995.5 through 2004.

However ... The rear cab wall 'profile' is different between these 2 cab styles (Reg Cab = vertical; XtraCab = slight forward slope). As long as the new cap comes from an XC you'll be fine. If it's off a Regular Cab - do a test fit first to see if there's an unsightly gap.
