How much play should there be in my CV Axle on my 2009 Tacoma. There seems to be a good bit of play in it compared to the right side. The service manager at my local dealership told me that it is designed to have that amount of play in it. The truck runs fine and there is no play in the front end of the truck while I am driving. Just curious as to the amount of play in other Tacomas out there.

You can grab the axle, shake it and it feels "loose" in comparison to the right cv axle.
