885s and stock shocks are not gonna work together - especially with that spacer.

Take it back, put the stock stuff back on before something fails.

The only reason to go to LS is if you need to buy tires on credit.

They love spacer and DB lifts, and they do everything as fast as they can. I don't even trust them to rotate my tires.

Also, never, under any circumstance, let them do an alignment job on your truck.

I've bought my tires from LS for 20+ years, Costco once or twice.
If I need a full break job I let them bend me over for that...alignments as well.

Always great service but I'm open for new options...Where, in the PNW, is the best place to buy and have tires installed?

Please don't say Americas Tire:confused:...Appreciate the info.

Thats just nasty right there. Those coil spacers are about the worst lift you can get. Good to hear you did right changing over to OME coils/struts.

Saw a guy running this setup the other day and he had flared fenders and prerunner bumper which made him look like even more of a dumbass :D

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I think those pictures were of the "spacer lift" that LS originally put in. First, it is all wrong. ALL wrong. Spacer in the wrong spot. Extended studs only on one side? Coil isolator is wrong.

Americas tire is head and shoulders above Les Schwab. Better service, better support and MUCH better response when they F something up. Everyone messes something up every once in a while. How a company deals with that is what makes them a good business. I've never seen a company deny responsibility more than Les Schwab...and be rude about it.

Discount tire / Americas tire is way cheaper than les scab with way better service and more tire selction. Unless you want toyos. Bastards at les scab wanted $1400 for toyo ats 285/70/17 and $1800 for the fing mts.. Guess they think they are the best at and mt made... Got tires at discount 265/70/17 cooper atp for $850.

America's Tire will never see another dime from...my experiences at a localPortland shop show a lack of service, deceit, and way over priced underperformingtires.

Sure, after I pointed these things out to the manager a week later herefunded some money...so I proved my point.

Sorry your experience at LS was less than satisfactory. I'll stick with themfor tires, alignments, and complete brake jobs. Very satisfied for 25+ years.

They push spacer lifts like crazy. They'll tell you that no one on Tacomaworld knows what they're talking about and that you can get a perfect alignment with a 3" lift and stock UCAs. The tech that I spoke with wasn't even familiar with the adjustments on LR UCAs.

They ask way too much for Toyos, and all the wheels they carry look like they belong in a rap video.

Go to LS if you want a spacer or db lift, big shiny wheels, and a vehicle that tracks on the highway (but don't worry because the alignment was "within spec").

After reading the first few replies I thought I was going to have to post a similar response. This is the astute observation that I think the OP was trying to emphasize. They fucked up the lift, and potentially could have caused real damage. Shows a lack of skill and knowledge. The fact the spacer lifts suck is secondary.

I've had good alignments at several places, and terrible alignments at other branches of those same places. Depends on the tech.

I swore off Big O but the alignment tech here 4 hours away from the store I swore off was a damn good one. I've had meh alignments and good alignments from Les Schwab. Found a guy that knew toyotas and I stuck with him until he quit.

Les Schwab used to be good when the old man was still living and watching things. Now it's a different story.
I haven't seen any consistently good businesses, it's all a hit or miss.

Yes that was the point. I know allot of people on here hate spacer lifts. Im not fond of them now ethier. But only lifts that don't use a spacer to lift is OME and a few others period. Icon lift is a spacer lift period so is fox and so on. Now granted the shock in those is designed for it. But its still a spacer lift.

Sounds like you've been Schwabed. I've been burned by them for the last time. Had a new strut fail on my daughters car, one of their new calipers sieze on the same car. I got torched on a set of Z-800's I put on a Chevy van years back. They wore out at about 20K and I had to eat the prorate. I took one flat repair back to them twice and was B Sd that it had another nail in it. Found out later they just didn't patch it right the first time. My son in law had to take back an alignment job that pulled just as bad as when he took it in. All that eager running around shite doesn't mean squat to me if you sell crap parts and have incompetent techs. There, that's my Les Sob story.
