I shot this in Japan in the mid 90's with a Nikon F4 on Agfa film (if memory serves). I was holding camera steady on a concrete handrail.

Thank you! I enjoy lightning shots as well. Most are 3-6 second exposure. I don't have a trigger or anything so I just have open the shutter and hope for the best LOL! Makes it all the more worthwhile when I capture a strike.

Posted some more night shots when it was safe to mob the night in LA and not worry about being having your gear getting stolen

 

Exactly! With the amount of robberies happening in LA (California in general), I do not feel comfortable going out with any flashy items. Especially at night..

 

It's sketchy anywhere nowadays. I didn't leave my hotel parking lot for one of the Indy shots I posted above. I got my settings close as I was walking to my location, snapped 7-8 pics and I was back inside in a hurry.
