Me and a couple other buddies are looking to have a snow day this weekend. We're located in Redding, CA - is there any good spots within an hour (or so) drive to take and have a little fire in the snow, maybe do a little 4x4? Nothing too extensive. Just don't know if I should be headed towards Shasta or Shingletown.

Could have looked in the Old Station area. Beyond your likeable distance maybe.
