After cleaning them no real dirt or water appeared in the bucket catching the spray. Things I noticed, there was one o ring that has a chunk out of it, the one that came out of #3 problem cylinder was clacking, I cleaned it and it quit working, gave it a few taps on the bench and it's clacking again.

Looking back on this I should of done this outside due to safety concerns.

I think I am going to test them again before putting them in

    Questions

Should I put them back where they came from or change them around ?

Manifold gasket ... ultra copper to reseal or any other tricks

Replace the injectors, and you should probably of done the leak down test first... I'm guesssing it's a cracked head or cylinder or block something's not right and it's not the fuel system I don't think

I wouldn't replace quite yet. Especially since you went through the work of cleaning them. Replace the funky o-ring and get them back in. Then let's see the test results. Nice job on the injector clean up. I'm excited to try that cleaning method next time I'm dealing with a possible injector issue.

Wait. Clacking as in the normal clicking the injectors make? Or a different type?

Put that injector were you can get it out without pulling the manifold upper. You can still run leakdown with intake off. Just disable the fuel pump.

then take box off to take sending unit out to get the rest of the fuel water mix out reassemble and party like its 1999

I am convinced it was water in the fuel rail ...... but i bought the leak down tester so i got to give it a try ...

REMEMBER this is just a parts truck i bought for the box ..... the frame is done and the previous owner welded it up. This will never see the road again, it will go to my cabin as a woods road truck / work truck. So i cant dump big $$$ into it ....

Sorry guys it's still sitting with the injectors out.

the Hi ho silver truck has moved to the back burner (but it's still on the stove) as I have shifted projects.

My father passed suddenly June 10 2017 of a massive heart attack. I have been dealing with all the ups and downs of that.

In memory of my father I donated my 1952 GMC 9430 project to the Andy Dunn memorial race to be put up on tickets with the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald house for sick kids.

    Sooooooo 1952 gmc body + running s10 + 3 weeks = ugly Betty

So my wrenching effort is going towards Betty :)

Thanks guys it has been road full of ups and downs

My father had bypass surgery 15 years ago and it was creeping back up on him.
He passed away up in the country while we were trail riding in the sxs. There was no sign no complaints, no pain.

I am thankful we got to spend a good day together, shared a beer in my travel trailer, he got to see my new cabin lot, he knew about the bun in the oven, he did not pass alone, he did not pass while driving the 3 h on the highway, and he knew I was doing everything I could to save him.

My wife took the second picture while we cheered over a beer in the trailer the day he passed.
