Yea, you live in a pretty harsh environment. I'm sure severe cold is just as bad as our heat on plastic.

How big is the hole under the duct tape? Check air induction hoses for dirt. Cross fingers.

    So next plan of attack
    Check compression test
    Check injectors
    Check Fuel filter for water
    Check Tank for water
Also going to change the oil and filter
Clean MAF sensor and t body

    Thoughts ?

sounds like a plan. I'd do injectors last.

Newfoundland? Did you inspect the frame yet? It is possibly white from the salt in the air

I'd disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail and pump that tank dry and put in some fresh fuel.

The frame is toast ! Was repaired with angle iron and from what I can tell the previous owner did not take it into the inspection and undercoat. I am going to call tomorrow to make sure. IMG_2805.jpgIMG_2801.jpg

Just thinking the truck idles fine and clean, just has no power and vibrates like mad at certain rpm

If you ease into it the truck will do 100km down the highway

Let off the gas and around 80-90 motor vibrates like mad

If it was fuel then the rest of the cylinders would run like crap and that's not happening

And it's odd that the two miss fire cylinders are on the same coil but I move the coil and the problem does not follow the coil

    Pointing to the dead cylinders

Sounds like you have a couple bad injectors. Can you move injectors to verify?

I would need to research how to do it but I am willing to give it a go

    Was also suggested to
check crank sensor and cam sensors. As it could be Sending wrong signals to ECU to not fire
    Willing to check this also

Will have to figure out how to check those things and report back for more 5 cylinder fun !

As always thought comments suggestions welcome

Well, if you weren't willing to learn about these trucks, you most likely wouldnt be on this forum.

That's why I spend so much time here. There is so much knowledge to be found.

    Somemore food for thought !

what are the chances to have two injectors go bad in different cylinder banks on two cylinders powered with the same coil ?

    Not real, likely.

Moving parts is cheaper than buying parts. Knowledge has value.

Could this be a timeing issue where the two cylinders that are dead are still sparking just at the wrong time ?

Also ! When I moved the coil packs from cylinder to cylinder I did not unplug the clip that feeds the coil. To get the correct reading i should have ?

    Is this right ?

So, no misfire at idle or under light load. Are all the plugs carboned up?

You should have disconnected the wires and plugged it into the spot you were placing it. If you left the wiring original, but just moved the coils, the engine will fire the coils as if they were in their original position, causing it to run even worse.
