I got my softopper used and I'll be painting it this weekend (if the weather lets me) So I can get that "like new" black back. And remove the softopper logo

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
X 3 paint ? Maybe he's talking about the frame. Someone on TV dud that. Looked good with the sides rolled up.

^ this worked really well getting out sun baked mud. And restored the fabric to it's true black color. Very pleased with the product

kept everything in the bed dry and fairly clean from dusty dirt roads.

Looks like you truck has a lift, if so how much and how's your gas mpg with the topper on? Mine was giving me 14-15mpg hwy with a 3" lift on 265s. For that it has mainly sat in my garage, and the fact that it hasn't rained this winter in CA.

Yea the truck is lifted has about 2" in the front and about 3" in the rear. Didn't really notice a mileage change with the topper but I'm also geared with 4.88. Mileage is steady at 16 running 75mph.

I just read through twenty + pages of awesome rigs and ecellent ideas. I bought my soft topper from line x of Albuquerque in 2009 for my 99 taco access cab. Loved it then and i still do, as i was able to transfer it to my 2012 with updated bed rail clamps. Soft topper customer service is awesome and stands by their product. I to fell victim to a cracked rear window in the cold due to my impatience. I used clear vynl repair tape and fixed the crack. I highly recommend this product, its easy to use and storage on and off the truck is a breeze. Here's a pic of the soft topper parking lot flexing.

Looks awesome, I like the red/ tan combo. So you were able to use the same softopper you had on your 99 6ft bed and transferred it to your 2nd gen 5ft bed?

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Looks really good! Can someone post photos of the mounting location. Trying to figure out how well it will mount with glass fenders.

yea I'm going to try ACE hardware next. shipping on spray paint is high. Even removed the whole cover from the frame and scrubbed it, still not the "new" black I'm seeking

No one ever answered this question? I don't have one but it looks like it would be close with the angles of the DerpWorx. There is a flat potion by the outer edge that might be enough to mount the Super Top.

KevinTaco - let us know what you find out!

I purchased a used ARE cap to fill a similar need to many of you. I also needed a rack and wanted better security. If I had seen some of your rigs before I got the cap I might have gone a different route, but for now I am happy.
Love all the pics of your guys rigs. If anyone has tried the Charcoal topper on an MGM I would love to see it.

Ok I am getting ready to buy one of these. I found a used one in Florida. How do these hold up to heat and sun over time? Do they get dried out? Do the windows get brittle and crack?

BTW I found mine by searching the whole country on http://www.onecraigs.com
