So far it's been ok. The only issue i had was with the angle of the hole and the thread on the front bracket. Required some adjustment with a drill press to get a better angle for the bolt.

Just installed my softopper, I love it but the rails seem a bit unsettling to me. Is the angle on these rails normal? They are sturdy and don't feel like they will budge but it just doesn't look right to me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the clamps to many times trying to remedy it, but nothing got them straight. if you loosen the clamps, and bring the rails inboard while tightening everything down, that should reduce the angle or even get them flat. I had that same issued when I first installed mine because I was pushing the rails outward while installing,

^I second this^ same thing happened when I first installed mine. Just move them in a tad and you’ll be set.

I'm thinking of attaching a battery powered LED bar to one of the roof rails of my softtopper. Just zip-tying it in place, keeping it simple.

Anyone have any recommendations of lights that would work?

I use the LED bed rail lights by @mattgecko and they are phenomenal. Extremely easy to set up, and the warm white light is the second best mod I've done after the softopper itself. I don't use the softopper lights he has, as the bed rail lights are enough. Can't recommend the quality, and execution of these lights highly enough.

Thinking about replacing that rubber strip on the bottom of the side rails of my Softtopper, anyone have a certain product they recommend to get a good seal?

I’ve used this stuff and have always been happy with it. It’s a little wider that the side rails for the topper so you get a complete seal without the foam wandering around during install.

    30-ft x 1-1/4-in Gray Camper Seal PVC Foam Marine/Automotive Weatherstrip https://www.lowes.com/pd/M-D-30-ft-...C-Foam-Marine-Automotive-Weatherstrip/1096095
