love your truck. I want (but can't afford to) a single cab to fix up. every time I save up a $1000 it finds it's way to my S-runner. what plans do you have for this?

Thanks for the compliments, your SRunner is one of my favorites on this site too!

Some upgrades in the pipeline - I have a tilt column and SR5 gauge cluster with tachometer to install. Also an oem stereo with an aux input to be going under a factory center console. I have already ordered up some custom coils from Deaver to drop the front 2.65" and will have them re-arch the leafs to give it some drop for better handling and improve the stance.

The big change would be the LCE supercharger calling out to me as well, since I just got the smog check so I will be good to go for a couple years!

Probably some other tidbits will find their way onto my truck as well of course... :D

Sharing this here until i get a build thread going, few more things in the works but I love how it's looking so far.

(P.S.- Please ignore the incorrectly directed front tire, excitement to get her on the ground got the best of me )

    Sexy!!

What did you do for your drop to get that sweet stance going? And what size tires and offset are you running here?

Thanks man! Hope this helps you and others that may be looking to drop their truck as well. There’s a lot of information available through these forms and guys on Instagram and can sometimes be tough to find the exact answer you’re looking for. Not every setup will be the same so trial and error will definitely be necessary, especially when it comes to wheel and tire choice but that’s all part of the fun. Happy modding

Front lowered by DIY *edit* >Went from QA1’s to double adjustable Vikings installed 10” springs but I should have used 12” springs so I ordered new Hyperco springs.< DJM upper control arms w/ stock lowers, polly or thermoplastic bushings.
Rear with 4x4 leafs w/ a cut 1/4” leaf on left & 1/2” leaf on right between spring & axle, X-run rear sway. Changed to shorter Vikings shocks. My .02 cents is single adjustable QA1’s are a better bang for the buck. Still trying to get the adjustments correct it’s a pain in the @$$...
235 & 245/50-19’s on 19x8 & 8.5 forged Ray wheels, 3.73 gear, StopTech BBK, URD SC (that’s now for sale) & LCE header with an LCE cat-back (had two large Magnaflow's installed) I need to install the white door handles setting under the drivers seat. Debating on a TrueTrac LS? The SC doesn’t have enough HP to need one but someday when I find someone I trust to install an L33 (LS 327) with a Tremec it will need it!

Beautiful trucks guys my 1999 regular cab 5-lug is currently licking its wounds in the backyard after a Jeep Wrangler tried to make it with "Yota". This post gives me the inspiration to fix it up

Go for it bro. They’re worth rebuilding no matter what condition. If that was closer to me I’d be trying to take it off your hands

I've so much mechanically to this truck in the almost 4-years I've had it. Today I'm driving 75 miles (each way) to get a tailgate and bumper

I’m gonna lower it maybe 2-3 inches.
The truck is a manual transmission.
I was thinking about 275/35/19s but I wanna see what everyone’s take is on it,
