For what it's worth, one of my best friends has spent tons of money tacticooling out his AR15 and I just don't get it nor will I ever. I'm sure he'd love your roof mount, and like I said, you did a very nice job with it. Didn't mean to step on any toes, I was just wondering what the reason for it was.

It sure seemed like you were trying to step on toes....

Those are the types of things someone doesn't say if they're not trying to step on toes and just have a simple question. I don't particularly care for those who are passive aggressive to push an agenda that they claim they're not pushing. I don't like loaded questions and as a result I have no desire to carry on a conversation with you about my choices and why I've made them. You don't like it? Fine. Move on. I think eye brows and a few other things are stupid as shit but I don't waste my time telling everyone how stupid I think they are because I have better things to do with my time. You're free to draw whatever conclusions you like and it doesn't affect my day at all.

Thank god I live in a country where I don't have to justify every single purchase I make or modification I do.

Let's not turn this thread into a gun debate. I like this thread, and don't want to see it get locked. Everyone has there thing, leave it at that.

There's douche baggery on both sides. Either way, I don't want the thread locked.

What part of my post was passive aggressive? I think your gun is stupid. That seems pretty far from passive. You don't have to agree, and thank God we live in a country where you don't have to agree. I think it's great that you have a hobby you enjoy. My question was a simple "what's it for?" Which you immediately got defensive about probably because you know it's pointless. I should have been insightful enough at that point to see you have very thin skin, so I'll own up for that. So, again, nicely executed mod. Worthless and ridiculous in my opinion, but nicely executed.

Correct. There is no debate. I think it's great that you did something you're proud of (and you did nice work, so what's not to be proud of?). I also think its great that you have the right to own that firearm.

So, I apologize my very simple question set you off. I promise I won't ask you any more simple questions.

    Resume awesome thread!

Anybody convert the compartments in the bed to locking? I know it's not impressive but it would make the compartment much more usable for me.
