Wurton pod light combined with Lowbrow Custom Harley Davidson fork-mount brakeline holder to make bed lights. @bullaculla aluminum track mount, a Home Depot bolt, and a Rigid harness/switch completed the install.

Do you have the antenna wire routed through firewall into the box?

 

I routed the antenna cable from the bed through a hole/grommet behind the seats.

I drilled and taped holes in the back of the crash bar and mounted a piece on perforated angle iron and mounted my light bar to that. And I left everything on the truck. Good excuse to buy a cordless angle drill/driver

 

Made a new shifter knob and replaced my weather tech

I love the bar in the lower grill. So cool! I imagine it does not get any attention from the police since it's so low. Probably legal most places.

Here's mine...

That is a photo cell used to prevent aux reverse and bed lights from turning on during the day. Found a kit from a model train shop to warn of a train in a tunnel. It was designed to light an led. I used that to turn on a couple solid state relays.


The bed lights are from West Marine. I cut some 2" PVC into shallow wedges to point the lights in the bed somewhat. They turn on either by opening the tailgate, or pushing that button covered by the weather proof boot.

 

Nice job. is that button a momentary push? if so, where'd ya get it? i have seen many but that one looks like it would fit my application perfectly.

 

I believe it senses daylight, so if it's light out then the aux lights can't turn on.

 

The button is in the picture with the bed light, above and to the left. It is a single pole double throw, on/ on type switch. That lets me turn the light on without feeling the tailgate.

 

Just make sure you ask before you feel your tailgate next time. Hahaha
