I'm looking into getting a bed rack for my '16 Taco blanco, DCSB. I know there are a multitude of vendors and styles, and I'd like to know who has what, and how much they like them. Some are aluminum, some are steel. Some are shorter, some are taller. There are modular ones like KB Voodoo, and there are solid items. I spent some time searching the 3rd gen threads and the parts/armor/components fora to see if there was one dedicated to bed racks. I couldn't find one, so here it is!

What bed rack do you have? Do you like it? How tall is it? What's it made of? Got pics?

Not on the installation, but the bed sides are a different height if I'm not mistaken.

I edited my post with a few 3rd gen threads

I had one for a while. I had a 10in steel KB Voodoo bedrack with a rtt on top.

I have since switched my setup and now have a shell , and like it much more.

Nothing wrong with the bedrack, the shell is just more practical and convenient for us.

I have this custom low profile rack, the soft topper protect it from the weather and keeps it hidden from thieves.

I’m almost positive I got it off of eBay. I ended up buying 2 sets in case I messed up the first one.

The list is long but distinguished
I went with the BAMF low profile w/XL Universal mounting plates. I like the low profile design as it lowers the center of gravity impact a RTT incurs but still allows one to easily crawl into the bed to access gear. The BAMF gear is always top notch and sturdy plus I live close to the shop so I don't have to pay shipping :) The only drawback to the low pro was mounting the awning for which I had to make custom brackets (see below).
