Hello everyone! I have a 2009 with the rear spring TSB and want to level out the front. I have done a search on the matter and a lot of people are just running 5100's set at 1.75 etc etc...I currently am looking at upgrading the rear struts to OME n182 (Old Man Emu)

I was wondering what the best front option to pair with the OME n182 rears would be?

I was thinkning about these two options:

    5100's

    or

    OME 9000's
My question is what coils should I pair with the OME 9000's to get my leveling close to factory rake. Again i have the rear tsb and from what I've been reading i need about 1.7 in of lift.

Would pairing the OME 9000's with the eibach 1.6 lift springs work? has anyone done this? how is the ride?

or should i just go with the 5100's? which is a better strut?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I would go with OME 885's on the 9000's. I like to keep the same brand on all four corners.

Yes I believe that's right. I'm doing the same thing except I'm going to use Bilstein 5100's set at 0.

So you think pairing the Eibach with billys is BETTER than pairing the eibachs with OME 9000's?

I honestly don't know. I'm going with the 5100's front and rear based on information I've read on this forum.

I think that the OME 9000's are a little better (better valving/ride quality, beefier) than the 5100's (based on one or two threads i've seen here)...I think a lot of people favor the 5100's for the adjustability and price. As far as which ones pair up better with th eibachs...i'm not sure. Thats why i posted. maybe someone else will chime in?

It's been recommended that if you're going to run OME springs, then you should stick with the OME shocks. They pair up nice. I suspect you could run other shocks and be fine, but it makes sense to stay with the OME springs and shocks together.

I have no experience with the OME stuff, but many folks on TW use their gear, including some of the well respected members and I would confidently use OME stuff based on their recommendations.

I was looking for a slightly shorter lift, so I went with the 1.6" Eibach springs with Bilstein 5100 shocks set at "0". In the rear are 5100's and a 1.75" Toytec add a leaf. I'm very happy with this set up.

I do have a slight shudder/vibration at ~ 5-8 mph and again at ~ 21-25 mph. Soon I'll try and diagnos and remedy the vibes. But I'm happy all around with ride and looks.
