All right forgive me if I posted this in the wrong place.

I have a 07 Tacoma 4x4 and I am looking at doing the Bilstein leveling kit. I just want to give it the level stance. I am also adding the Method 301 wheels in as well.

My question is how will this effect ride quality? I am not looking to push them all the way or add any blocks or leafs in the rear.

2nd question is can what I am going to do damage anything?

Is it better to add coils with these shocks or should I be ok with stock coils?

    Thanks everyone.

What exact kit are you looking at?

Overall, if you're just leveling, you shouldn't have any issues with ride quality and/or damaging anything.

The stock coils will be fine. I run the stock coils with my bilsteins.

I'm going with the Bilstein 5100's.

Like I said at this point just want to level it. I really don't go off road much. I would like to start exploring just not into the rock crawling and hardcore stuff.

Seems like a lot of builds on here go with a spring as well then to level the rear add a leaf. Making it all most a 3' lift? Also adding a UCA as well.

If your still just leveling it out all should need are the 5100's set at 1.75" depending on your truck. I originally set mine at 1.75" with no rear extras. It sat pretty level, but depending on how you looked at it sometimes it looked nose high on one side. So I just put a 1" block in the rear. I've had AALs before and I don't like how they ride. Don't do any extreme off roading. Everything rides great.

After a lot of the reading on here I am backed off the 5100's. I want something better for when I do go off road. Really just torn. right now. been looking at a few different options
