Hey folks. I purchased a set of used Lexus LED fog lights from the forums here and recorded my installation experience for which I wanted to share with you all. The reason I went with these are the following.

    1. Lexus OEM fog lights were LED at 4300k color.
    2. No modification at all was needed for the installation. Completely 100% direct fit.
    3. I saved $300+ over a set of Rigid Industries (OEM on the TRD Pro).
    4. Light output is near identical to Rigid Industries due to DOT regulations (USA).
    5. Light beam is near identical to Rigid Industries also due to DOT regulations (USA).
    6. I thought it would make a fun video to show everyone how doable it is in your own garage.

I absolutely love the crisp light these generate. Enough babbling over this, here is the video!

Please enjoy and thumbs up! Spread the word for those wanting a fog light upgrade!

$300 over a set of rigids? I can get the lights, brackets and harness for $300. Have you seen the DOT rigids at night? They destroy the Lexus fogs.

Good find though if they’re really cheap!

Not sure where you can get the OEM TRD Pro versions of the Rigids for $300. That's just unheard of around here becuase I was shopping for one for the longest time.

And the rigids at night do not "destroy" the lexus LED. Both utilize the same dual LED setup with chome reflector plastic internals. Only real difference is the housing on the Rigid is actual square filled, more off road rugged for having mud and rocks flung at them vs Lexus housing is just as plastic as the stock halogens. (thicker though)

The part numbers are on my video description if you click on the youtube link. Actually, let me paste them here:

    81210-48050, 81220-48050.

These came from RX 350 but the GS, IS, even well equipped Toyota vehicles have the same LED fogs. Just compare them with the ones in my video, it will fit.

Only what's on the video. The camera I have sucks and distorts the image I take at night. I can't control exposure on it, so it just makes everything look super white and washed out, even though in real life it is super crisp light, well focused.

I installed mine tonight. It was super easy. It took me about 20 minutes total and I'm slow in the garage. The beam pattern is crisp and bright. The color temperature looks identical to the Taco's LED DRL "swirl". I haven't tried them in the dark yet so I can't tell how much light they put on the road compared to the stock halogens. I like to run the fogs and DRLs together in the daytime so I think this will be perfect. $209, shipped from Amazon.

    Thanks for the thread.
