Did you get a spot or wide cornering S1 in your HitchPod?

I got the wide cornering S1. I used to need to put my windows down so I could see my mirrors better when I back into my driveway at night. That became unnecessary after I got the hitch pod. Now the backup camera is actually useful with the DIR mod and I have no issues reversing at night.

Just got mine in today and this thing looks awesome... Minus one of the zip ties with a slight bow in it I’d say perfect!
    :anonymous: Hahah....
Well done gents and thanks for taking the time to do this. Looking forward to installing when my MESO stage 1 shows up!

Just installed mine tonight. The quality and craftsmanship that @daveeasa puts into these harness exceeded my expectations! It took about 1/2hr to install the kit, very easy plug and play. For those of you that think $85.00 is steep, it was worth every penny. For someone to take the time for some R&D, the ordering, to assemble them and shipping them out is a big task. So at the end you get a harness that is just plug & play and a product that works. THANK YOU @daveeasa & @Puppypunter for developing a great product! Looking to future mods from you guys.

You can make a stack of them and with some U bolts try them out as a leaf spring set?

I am glad you like it! And while I may be biased, I think the price point is pretty reasonable. Sourcing the stuff can get pricey by the time you factor in shipping. And @daveeasa is doing a great job on these. While he is toiling away building more, I am already thinking of what he can build next

OK, everyone, I'm sorry, I blew it tonight. I was fired up to be productive but I got sidetracked by a million pesky things. I'm going to do maybe an hour of work on the DIR and then get some z's. So, yeah, delays delays delays.

If it's any consolation, I am waiting on relays of all things right now as mouser is having some big delays on those suckers and I only have a stock of 2. But, those are the last thing to snap in so that's not a legit excuse.

Anyway, added everyone who asked to the wait list but hoping I won't need to have a wait list at all if all goes well over the next few weeks.

Decent start on batch 2. As of right now it’s 16 only because I ran out of female terminals. More on the way though.

A little PSA on some details for those receiving and installing. The zip ties are important as they will reduce the chance of wire fatigue over the lifetime of the truck. Please use them and/or add any extras where appropriate. For the 2nd batch I plan to add a few additional zip ties as I've sourced them in bulk in a size which I think will work equally well for both sections of the harness.

You may also use tessa tape and/or wire loom + tape to further protect and secure your harness. I opted to not do these extra steps mostly because they are fairly time consuming and also rather easy to DIY. Also, I honestly dislike the look of most of the things I've taped and I even dislike that aspect of the total tails as it looks a little ragged. I don't expect to ever produce the DIR harness pre-taped or pre-loomed. Hopefully all this stuff is pretty obvious.
