I can understand how wading through this thread is confusing and not particularly fun. I'm just trying to avoid having dozens of DM's to track as that gets to be time consuming for me.

Deep into the throws of prepping for the install while eagerly awaiting arrival of the harness. Getting stuck on install point 1.2. Maybe over thinking it, but what color cotton shirt are you all wearing for the install? Anyone try this wearing a merino wool blend? A moisture wicking/tight fitting base layer to help keep the moobs in place? Anyone softly uttering words of encouragement while completing 1.2 or just going for the gusto and jumping right into 1.3 and 1.4?

 

Merino wool compatible model costs $100

 

I’ll be living dangerously with a 100% merino wool shirt. If this is the last I’m heard from, you all know why.

 

The thing about so cal is we only have 3 choices for tops.

1. cotton t shirt
2. Hoodie (full zip)
3. Puffy (Patagonia full zip preferred)

Hence to avoid the zipper, t shirt is the only option.

 

Can I pay you now for when my time comes down the road?

 

I’m sorry, but no, I don’t want to do that for various reasons.

My intent is to push myself until the wait list is cleared and I have a few of these ready to ship on the shelf. Then it’ll be possible to purchase immediately.

In the meantime, accepting payment for product I haven’t built yet and may not even have parts for just makes me too uncomfortable and opens the door for discontent if the timeline slips for any reason.

I’ve been on the other side of things and I get it. I will promise a minimum of 20 per month and my goal is 2-3x that. I think 50 a month is sustainable for the next few months. Connector availability is one part of the challenge.

Hopefully that makes sense?
