License plate light plug type?

    That makes sense, modify the harness to be like a 2nd gen. The terminal are different and represent slightly different series. You should be able to tell when you see them side-by-side if they are similar enough to work.

    Many thanks to everyone. I ended up buying a new tag light harness off eBay ($28.00) and putting generic weatherproof plugs on it. New bumper and lights working great. I appreciate everyone’s help and input.

    Op or anyone looking into this. @DaveInDenver linked a Corsa technic product for me a few months back.

    I ordered and was not able to get the wires to stay in the plug, but it was the right plug. I'm not great at electrical so it was operator error. For an extra $10 you can order with the pigtails attached. That would be my suggestion.

    Then it is plug and splice new wires to and done. Nice, clean, easily go back to stock configuration.

    I got frustrated, cut the old plug and wired my stuff direct.
