Yeah me too. Amazon Prime has destroyed my expectations for shipping. 6 days of patiently waiting so far... :(

I just installed a set of these this evening. The install wasn't horrible, but the rubber boots were a minor nuisance. 30 minutes is about right because it goes a little slow at first until you figure out how the things go together. Also, I loosened the washer tank and the battery to get my rather large hands in close.

I wasn't sure how the old lights came out (brand new truck) and I found this video that helped - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O71EnM4iLjE.

I didn't have a chance to drive the truck tonight but it sure seemed brighter inside the garage....FWIW. The lights look to be pretty high quality.

Updated review. I've had these for a little over a month now and I still couldn't be happier. I love these lights and I love them more every time I drive the truck.

Drove in pouring rain today and to prove no leaks here are a few pictures.

No water or condensation in either headlight.

    Still bright as hell

As you can tell we had a storms come through all night long last night with no leakage what so ever. These lights work as advertised as long as you install them correctly. Best money I've spent in a long time. Thanks Henry!

I'm skeptical, but giving them a shot. Just placed order 191. Currently I am running the Piaa Extreme White Plus and prior to that the Phillips Xtreme Vision. IMO,both of those were a slight improvement over stock. The Piaa's slightly edging out the Philips. Can't wait to give these a shot.

No comparison between these lights and those. I had the zXe bulbs in mine and they were great. They don't even begin to touch these bulbs though.

I really wish I knew why yours are so good, and mine are so weak.

Mine are only a slight improvement over the zXe's in regards to light right in front of the truck, and they are a downgrade in long distance light.

I really wish I could help you. All kidding aside it has been one of the best investments to lighting I've ever done. I really wish you had the same luck with yours and could give you a solid reason you don't.

There seems to be others who have had the same exact experience as me.

There has to be some definable variable, either with the trucks, or the lights.

You and I have the same model year trucks, so it's probably the lights.

    I ordered from http://www.chitown4x4.com/

They appear to be authentic, but who knows.

My headlights are stock, with the exception of these bulbs.

Has anyone else ordered from Chi Town 4x4? If so, what were the results?

I still think the difference is 2012-14 housings vs. 2005-2011 housings. Seems most people all gaga over them have 2012-2014 trucks.

Idk if this helps, but I ordered mine directly from Lifetime and they should be shipped in today. I'll post some photos of how they turn out tonight. If I have a bad set, it could just be inconsistences with their products. If they are good, it supports the idea of possible counterfeits for unlucky buyers who bought from a 3rd party supplier. (Other than Henry).

It that post makes sense. Sorry, its been a long day already and I'm out of it. :D

I ordered them from a member link in one of the threads here on Tacomaworld. I really hope they aren't fakes.

    That is correct.

I'm thinking you may be right. My '06 didn't show anything like the results the other guys were getting. I ended up having to return them.
