I ordered from Chi Town 4x4 and my lights are fine. I have had them for several weeks now and they are working great. LoadedTaco I believe is a rep for them. He help steer me in the right direction for the lights. Hit him up. He responds real quick.

mini antenna... I'm getting to it! Sheesh!
Well, I've had a chance finally to drive around at night a few times with the new lights and I've gotta say that I really like them! My wife likes them too.
They illuminate the road much more evenly and wider than my Silverstars. I have no problems with the high beams, although to do seem like less of a jump up since the low beams are SO much brighter, but I can see quite well so I'm happy. I LOVE the true white color of the lights.

I'm going off-road a little bit in a few weeks.... that will be the true test as I've popped quite a few conventional bulbs bouncing around off-road. ;)

BTW, I have 2011 housings (with eyelids) and no issues with aiming or any light getting cut off.

    All the normal TW BS
Got mine and notes so far are thus:

    (note this is a 2008)

    1. Some little tricks to the install. No trimming or anything needed: Remove the screws from the mounting ring. Do a 1/8 twist to the black mounting collar (the thing that holds the screws in) and remove. Put on rubber boot, put on black mounting collar with a 1/8 twist, put on mounting ring and screws.
    2. Seems strange that the low beam is the top LED, and high beam is the bottom LED... but that's how it worked on all the bulbs I installed (including 9004 bulbs for the Dodge)
    3. The cutoff line is not as crisp as a HID retro, which is to be expected since I'm not changing the housing or anything. Cutoff is maybe slightly improved over standard, but that could be a placebo effect of new bulb syndrome
    4. On the highway, the light pattern makes me feel like I had stock fog lights on in addition to regular low beams. Kind of nice to get that back.
    5. It's hard to compare against vehicles next to you, but I was driving the highway and could tell that these bulbs were doing a better job than several other vehicles.
    6. High beams are nothing too incredible, but I was expecting that. It's the same brightness gain as stock, which is fine.

I'd say the unprofessional consensus I have so far is that brightness is better than SilverStar Ultras, there's no downsides over standard bulbs, and I'm hopefully done buying bulbs every 4 months. More 'professional' review to come once Benson_X and I have time to compare.

I also did an install on a '99 Dodge RAM, and it sucks. Dodge engineers were idiots back then. Took me 3 times as long, took 2 people, and we had to cut up a plastic retaining ring to make it work.

I am wondering if there will be clearance to mount these with my Group 31M battery. What do you guys think?

I installed mine, purchased from Wired, this past weekend. On the passenger side I had to remove my Volant CAI box in order to get the washer bottle out of the way. On the drivers side I only had to loosen the battery (Optima Red Top) and turn it a bit to make more room to work. Other than that the hardest part was getting the boots on, didn't have to trim them. I was installing them in hopes of them being close to as bright as the HID's they were replacing, but with a better cutoff. Even though I have never been flashed running the HID's in the oem light housing, for about 2 years, I just wanted to reduce the chance of stray light blinding others. Having said all that, here are my observations: 1) the LED bulbs seemed to be of high quality 2) the LED lights were very bright, as compared to the factory oem bulbs 4) the LED's have a nice sharp cutoff 4) the LED's were nowhere near as bright as the HID's.
I ended up putting my HID's back in for now, and ordered up some projectors lenses for the HID's. I will probably install the LED bulbs in my son's Suzuki Aerio, which uses the same bulb model.

This was installed in a 2009 Taco

Again, this is just my two cents....

    Installed mine last night.

Passenger side I unbolted the two bolts for the washer bottle and shifted it out of the way. It was an easy instal. So glad I read that the bases come off the bulb first! No rubber boot probs :)
Driver side I pulled the battery clamp loose just enough to slide the battery towards the engine a couple inches. I was able to install both bulbs in 40 minutes and that was taking my time cleaning some nooks and cranny's along the way :)

First opinion.. the light is a very nice clean white and works well. The high beams are not that amazing but provide a slightly wider field of view when used. I definitely need to get the matching fogs now..

I copied RearViewMirror and installed some yellow fog lights. I do try and only use the fogs when weather will justify it. They work great and only around $25 instead of another $150 on the fogs. He is right, the yellow with the led super white look good together. Just a suggestion.

I bet the LED fogs would be awesome though...

The photo came out with a blue tint. :( For reference, the light fixture in the background is an incandescent bulb and more yellow. I assure you that the headlights are pure white and the fogs are yellow.

Edit: The morning provides better lighting. No condensation yet, but it has been in the 100s and bone dry. Here ya go. :)

Still having trouble getting all of my moisture out of the driver side headlight. I blew air in it, gel packs/damp rid ect, new rubber bulb boots, it's almost gone but not quite:( I've also been driving with headlights on 24/7 Soon I hope I'll be done, it's driving me nuts.

On a side not Lifetime is a stand up company.:bananadance::kona::cheers::jellydance::bowdown:
They refunded all of my money and paid return shipping, no questions asked.
It didn't work out for me but I was super impressed by their customer service.;)

Some of the folks on a jeep site I frequent are having issues with the lights breaking from off roading. Evidently, the weight of the fan on the back of the lights, is causing the lights to bounce around, until they break. Thoughts?
