some of this, a little of that
no I wanted to see side by side a truck with the LED's and a truck with the halogens. I like the light output but I don't think they throw as far as the halogens do, that's what I wanted to see. Not to mention they are both pre 2012 headlights

Ahh.. I see. Yeah I think they do better from everything that I've seen in this thread with the +12 headlights. The 11 back don't seem to do quite as well.

Haven't yet, we've both been busy on projects.

My mom (who drives the Dodge 2500) said the distance on the Dodge feels decreased and the brights aren't very good, but then again the headlights are terrible with stock as well.
The driver side bulb burnt out for them, so going to have to do a warranty on that.

Umm... basically anything electrical has to accept a certain level of interference to be FCC compliant. I'm not too concerned about my headlights blocking me from listening to static.

I wasn't able to listen to Sweet Leaf by Black Sabbath the other night because of static. It was heartbreaking.

I tried your idea and didn't have any issues. It still found the same channels with no static. I will try once again at the station since it is a little further outside of the metro and in a hilly area and record my findings. I'm interested in finding out myself though it doesn't really affect me since I don't listen to the radio. I usually only listen to Sat or USB.

The test only works when a song you really want to hear is on.

Installed my lights, they look great. They throw a good beam not great but pretty good. No static at all on my raido. I'm pleased so far after a week of driving.

I finally got the LED light bars installed in my grill to supplement the weak high beams of the LED 9003's (thanks to help from RearViewMirror on the wiring).

They're wired up to come on with my high beams, and I have a rocker switch in the dash to disable them if I want.

It's amazing how much light four little LED's can crank out. I'll try to get some more pictures.

I finally got mine installed about a week ago and then finally got a drive in at night last night. Install was straight forward albeit a pain with my giant sized hands. Moving the battery and washer bottle really helped. The light output is great, very very happy with the result. Now the whole front of SnowTaco is white, except those pesky reflectors that will disappear if I ever BHLM her.

I am wondering if any of you guys that are not happy with the output have ever had HID headlights? The light colors are perceived differently by the eye. I went to the same dark place after I changed these bulbs out and the LEDs light up a much wider and further area. IM all country round at night where I live and yes I too was disappointed by the lack of wow on high beam but I hope they will suffice.

All in all a great upgrade.

Only thing im not happy with the current light facelift is having my Jumpers DTRLs on all the time. My 13 has the option on the stalk for off and the way those are wired I have lost that function ;-(

    Crappy cell phone pics!!!

In hindsight, I would just do a good HID retrofit.
