No problem my friend! I was extremely happy with the zXe lights but it is unbelievable the difference (as you can see in the picture). I think you will be happy.

I'd be curious to see how the lights due on a long distance road trip. I'd be interested, but the fans concern me.

No different than the fan that keeps your computer cooler. No different than your air condition blower fan. No different than the fan on the back of most car radios. I'm not worried especially due to the build of the fan.

If that happens the lights will be the least of my problems.

What's the difference between the different models? Which one did you use?

As in 9004/9005/9006? They're the bulb types. Idk what tacos use but my 4Runner uses 9005's for high beams and 9006's for the low and fog lights.

    Stock for now...
These are basically the same led's I have in the FJ40 - got them from MetricTLC.com , these bulb kits show up all over the place and there are ripoff's so be careful . Not raining on anyone here , they look identical to mine and are the same price . I will say , not too worried about longevity as they should easily outlast 3+ sets of halogen high-power units . I love the light color , 5500k is dead on right for headlights and work excellent in all conditions . I use the IPF 7" round replacement housings in the Land Cruiser and the cutoff is perfect , no issues with oncoming traffic or glare .

As a side note - has anyone using these looked to see if the high and low are on at the same time when high beam is selected ? On the Cruiser , it lights both elements and goes from bright to "holy crap" bright when on high - a good thing , lol .

Yes. High beam LED is on top and the Low beam LED is on bottom. When you flip the High beam switch they both light up at the same time. You just have to dodge the dead vampires after that.

Thanks Chris! I hadn't seen that video before.

To all those thinking about those lights that is a metal housing on the back not plastic. I can not emphasize how well these lights are made.

I had no issues with it. I copied and pasted it in the coupon section and it worked perfectly. I've noticed that if you accidentally copy a space in front or back of the coupon it will take that as a symbol also. (not saying that's what happened)

I used it on the Lifetime site. Thought I posted that but if I didn't I apologize.

That's exactly what I've been waiting for! I didn't try any ebay/Amazon stuff because I knew they were crap. I was contemplating removing the headlight lens, retrofitting a 7" LED headlight from GE or Speaker, but was stuck on what-to-do if the light fails (not having to remove lens every time), and the cost of each one. These are powerful, use the headlight reflectors efficiently and not worry about hacking anything up.. I will order ..
