    Hey Everyone!

I know this has been asked before - I did search prior to posting, however, I could't find a concrete answer.

Many lift kits state that they do not work with the XSP-X edition, due to something differing with struts. However, I have also seen many folks say that the XSP-X is just an SR5 with add-ons, which from my estimation appears to be the case.

I just wondered if anyone has ever actually purchased one of these kits that state they do not work with the XSP-X, and found out for sure whether or not they work? Looking in the neighborhood of 3''.

    Thanks everyone!

Hey man, I saw that too when I got my xspx back in 2015. I can tell you for certain that the suspension is just SR5 stuff, any lift for any tacoma will work.

I have the bilstein 5100's w/ eibach springs and an add a leaf from @HeadStrong Off-Road personally and have about 50k miles with zero issues.

Lifted with "Rough Country" kit, Blistien here I come.
My XPS-X had a rough country shocks w 2" blocks on the rear and spacers up front.. I rides like its welded together unless i put about 50 lbs in the back. Looking to put bilstiens 5100 and a AAl and remove the block. said all that to say this....the rough country website says not XPS-x but they fit....

Thanks! Good to know about RC, too. I had a couple of their lifts on past Jeep Cherokees/Grand Cherokees I've owned, and didn't think they were too bad, but I have heard some people say their lifts for Tacomas are not too great...Was thinking about one for my Taco since I'm looking at about 3" max.

Thanks man! The xspx is a great platform and looks pretty slick from the get-go, looks even better once it's lifted

I had a rough country lift on my 2wd dakota, 2.5" front strut spacer and 1" or 2" rear block (can't remember). It rode just fine, and I was going to put the same lift on this truck....until I joined this site.

I steered clear of the spacer lifts and went with this one since I intended to use the truck off road. Now I'm soon to be on the hunt for coilovers as the current lift is starting to get some miles and abuse adding up.

Oh and make sure to check out this thread to say hey:

Oh and another note, ignore people here that hate on the xspx. I don't see it happen much anymore but either way, they're just jealous :D

Thanks!! :) I'll be sure and stop by! Everyone here has been very friendly to me, though I have seen others refer to it as the "pretty boy package" lol. I think it makes it look just a little bit more unique.

Here in the northwest where I bought mine, it was the only one at the Toyota dealer, and I did see a few other salesmen and customers hanging around it, hoping I would say I wasn't interested in it so they could get it, lol.
