so I'm about to buy a pare of TRD shocks came off a 2004 v6 double cab,

The seller has no idea what coil rate he has, so I'm wondering if anyone of you guys would know

I'm going to be putting them in my extra cab 4 cyl and am wondering if these will give me to much lift and I'll need to replace the UCA's.

If they are in fact TRD shocks/springs. There won't be much lift at all. The shocks don't make lift, the springs do.

That's not what I'm asking, I understand what "lifts" the vehicle, I'm asking if people know what the spring rate of the shocks would be...

Cause the seller has no idea

And I don't want to end up buying a pare of 883 coils and not being able to use on my truck

Thread title is confusing. You're not asking about shocks, but rather you seem to be asking about the coils themselves.

If they're OEM coils, they aren't likely to be a different coil rate than the same OEM coils for a 2.7 truck of the same model.

If they're OME.. without markings, who knows what coils they are.

You are being pretty unclear for a guy asking for help.

I'm not sure what the spring rate is but as for your UCA question, you should be fine with the stock UCAs. Don't typically need to upgrade those unless you are approaching 3" of lift or higher.

The thread title was edited by admin because it was originally "HELP!!," which isn't cool when it isn't a genuine call for help, like in an emergency.

If those are what the seller says they are, no lift. This is a question you need to be asking the seller.

They aren't for second gens, so I'd assume they're not for 1st gen trucks either.

You may see some lift if your current coils are haggard and sagged out, but over factory height? I'd assume not. Even if the coil rates are different, it'd probably be a minimal height difference.

The seller should know if those are stock springs. How can you not know if your truck was lifted or not.

I just read a thread on TTORA that the 1st gen OEM TRD coils are rated at 500lbs, assuming the ones in question here are indeed the stock coils. Not confirmed though but the info seemed valid.

I have those coils sitting in my apartment since I just took them off of my '04 last month, I'll double check when I get home but from what I recall, they don't have any markings on them to indicate what they are.
