    Click my build thread!
I don't know much of anything about lifts and suspension, but really?! Like others said I'd be afraid to drive it wondering what else is wrong.

$330 seems a little steep, esp for the shit work they did to your leafs. I had my 5100s set to 2.5" and installed, as well as my wheelers 3 leaf AAL packs installed (correctly) for $160 at the shop i go to....

dude pm 4WD or go to his thread. you can get a spring out of an older 1 ton gmc or chevy and add that and it will be damn good and damn cheap. its what i have and a lot of ppl run his springs. heres a link to his thread about it. send him a pm. he can give ya info on doing it yourself. its super cheap man.

No, I was on my way to Truckin' Up, then I found out our alignment guy does lifts. It's Terry's Tire Service (Terry Benefield) in Montrose. But one of his workers obviously put the lift on. Terry only does alignment

WOW..................i seriously had to doubt that a pro shop could actually do that......so I seriously entertained the idea(as chris 4x4 did) that they would just put them there for monday.

My gut said the shop is retarded...............but I had to say......nooooo....a pro shop couldnt be naive to just put the leaf on top.

Well OP.....im sure a few life lessons were learned here......I know I had one re-iterated.

Thanks man. If only the truck was in my name, we could've avoided this problem :pout: And I had a bad feeling about TU anyway. From what I hear, all they do is readylifts with blocks in the back so who knows what would happen if they installed my leafs!!

    I feel bad for you.

Whoever did that, should sell his mechanic tools.

Hope it works out for you.

They installed a 3in Super Lift on my buddy's 1500 Sierra and a couple months later the long bolt holding the UCA on came 3/4 of the way out:eek:, earning them the name of Fuckin Up
