Bilstein 5100's @.85 with 884 OME springs, Deaver AAL, LR UCA's, and sway bar relocation kit.

After driving it around today I'm really satisfied with the results. relatively easy lift to install. I did install the front end completely with the shocks set at their highest setting, and ended up with ~6 inches of lift in the front. But this forum helped me out a lot.

Thanks to everyone for your input. I'm by no means a master mechanic, I just consider my skills average, and with the information you can find within this community you can do almost anything.

Out of curiosity, why did you do the sway bar relocate? I was under the impression that was for 2.5" coilovers so the sway bar wouldnt hit them

Wasn't sure, I think in the excitement of ordering parts I thought I needed it?

It didn't look like it was in the way but since I had ordered the kit I did it anyway.
It only took a few minutes to do.

Hey, at least now if you ever go crazy and get some mega beef suspension in there, you'll be good! Aha

I've heard of people completely removing their sway bars thiugh, so I'm not exactly sure of their function. I gotta read up more on how important they are.

I'll leave you to do your own research, but I'd highly advise against it. People remove it to gain fully independent front suspension, but in doing so, they have increased body roll and I higher chance of crashing in the event of a high speed evasive maneuver.

What are your thoughts about doing the carrier bearing drop and/or diff drop?

I chose not to go that route cause seemed like alot of people are against them.

I did diff drop but no CB drop.

The people that are against the diff drop say it barely helps and rotates the diff starving it of oil. I have yet to see a single case of a diff failing or problems arising because of this. If it helps my cv angles just a little, I figured why the hell not.

For the carrier bearing, I waited to see if would get driving vibrations and then I'd install if needed. No vibrations, so no cb drop for me!

Truck looks great, I do sway bar relocates quite often on lifts, it puts less stress on the links.

I see. I might consider it for the future. I'm pretty impressed/surprised at the lack of vibrations.
The truck rides just as smooth as stock suspension. So hopefully driveline vibrations don't appear out if no where. Lol
What's next for you as far as mods go?

Thanks! I'll definitely be attending now that I have a truck that's not so stock. Should I be checking the KY page for that?

    Nice, pics?
I'm thinking about bumpers, but seeing as I only have 884 springs I'd hate to lose what little height I just gained for armor.
But then again it'd look sharp

KY or TN, it's mostly TN members who attend though
