Lift Options 2021 Tacoma?

I just purchased a 2021 Tacoma Dbl cab long bed TRD off road 4x and looking to get a lift plus wheels and tires. I already know I want a 3" lift with 17s and 33s.
I have gotten a couple quotes from reputable shops and have gotten so much information my head is spinning!

I was suggested the Bilstein 6112 kit with 5100s in the rear. Does anyone have this setup? How does it ride?

I was told the stock 4600s I have on the truck are good and it wouldn't be an "upgrade" unless I went with the 6112 kit. Otherwise, I was suggested to get a MaxTrac spacer lift (2-1/2" front and 1"rear) but I haven't seen too much positive feedback on spacer lifts. Suggestions?

I use my truck as my daily driver, commuting locally but want to be able to off-road comfortably. Hit some dirt trails, nothing crazy but I have a truck for a reason and I wanna get it dirty.

Between a suspension lift, spacer lift, body lift, etc. what is the best bang for my buck without damaging other components but get the beefy lift I want for my truck?!

Why not drive it for a while in its current configuration to see what it can do stock?
Get to know it on the roads and paths you typically follow - you may find it's more than adequate.
You'll still get the truck dirty AND have some change in your pocket for the car wash.
I'm not saying don't do it - just don't do it until you're sure it's needed.

Welcome. Have fun modding your truck. Avoid spacer and body lift. Can't go wrong with any of the major coil over lifts.

 

Ah yes, we humans are plagued by the incessant need to be satisfied.

Unfortunately, I can't relate when it comes to having a stock Tacoma. The look is very satisfying to me

6112/5160 is a nice ride for a DD with the 600# springs (650+ for bumper/winch/etc). It's very similar to the trd sport tight feeling but great on two track and for roads at speed. I've done a bunch of that in my 2nd gen, with some great lakes forest roads chunk/stump gardens here and there. It's not as soft as the off-road factory suspension on road but still forgiving on the bumps. Don't overdo the rear leafs if you won't have weight in the bed.

I'm in the process of installing dobinson monotube adjustable fronts/2" 570# springs and 5160 rears/ dobinson 111R leafs on my 3rd gen DCLB TRD sport. Should be done tonight and alignment tomorrow. Won't get any significant mileage until March, though. I can give my initial on road impressions of interested.

Some people don't read what is written.
Others don't listen to advice given 'cuz it's not what they want to hear.
