remember back in the 90's when Toyota started really building these trucks before the first gen in the mid 90's most of them came with 31x10.5x15's and had that wider stance and they looked really sweet and made the domestic small trucks look like crap...

so question for you? are the stock OR wheels 7" wide that you are putting the 285's on? my stock SR5 wheels are 7" wide and the 285's I thought should go on 7.5 to 8" rims?

@trd-joe mind posting a picture of the truck from the front/front & side view with the spacers? Been contemplating spacers but want to see how it looks on one if possible sir!

I'm considering the same lift and now I'm sold. Definitely a good looking truck! What kind of sliders do you have installed?

How much power is lost with the lift and larger tires?
I am pulling a boat with my 2017 TRD V6.

What is a mellow lift and tire size bump I could get away with and still not cause power suck?

Also what is the scoop with a 'leveling' where I'm told the front end is brought up a bit to level it out?

    Thanks!
They are the Marshall Offroad Fabrication hybrid sliders with kickout, at 10 degrees because I wanted to be able to use them as steps too. Normal is 15 or 20 degrees I think. @ETaco23 makes them.

Thank you! Those are sweet because I need a step myself to access the top of the shell.

Yep these are the stock 7" wheels and they do just fine. I was worried about them not looking wide but they look good!
No regrets at all. Once I wear this tires out I will be upgrading to new wheels and tires though.

ProComp/Headstrong leveling kit, AllPro rock sliders.
ProComp leveling kit 2.5" spacers front, HeadStrong 3 leaf AAL in rear. Ended up with .5" difference with rear slightly higher. Wanted a bit more rake, and not sure how much settling so we'll see. Towed horses this weekend and it worked great. 20170607_181005.jpg 20170607_181041.jpg Stock tires and rims, probably go with 275 Coopers or BFG KO2s when these wear out. I like the stock rims so will keep them.

did you replace the ECGS bushing?
once my factory tires wear out I guess I am heading that way with a mild lift or leveling kit and some spacers to gain some more space...thanks for the info..

Those are stock wheels some people have been getting them on the sr5 model iirc. I honestly really like those wheels.

Did you have to trim your wheels studs to install the 3/4 inch wheel spacers?

Would 1.25 wheel spacers affect the suspension at all? I'm thinking of adding them and right now I have a King set up (front coils, control arms, rear socks and deaver leafs). I've seen lots of info on increased bearing and ball joint wear, but never anything on if that extra leverage changes how the suspension rides? Would it make it seem softer?
