Looks great man. Good job on doing the install. Never hurts to replace rubber parts when installing new things.

What made you choose the 5100s over Ome soft rides?

I'm not an expert in any way but just from reading enough reviews and forum posts people seemed to be equally pleased with both options as far as ride/build quality as a daily driver with occasional off roading. So it came down to the price, exactly half as much for the 5100's. The OME soft ride's were 330 for the front pair the 5100's were 175. I figure I can replace them twice as often if they begin to wear out for the same money. Feel free to correct me if anyone has a different opinion.

I also went with the same combination you have but I am a 4x4 and got about 2.1 in front(give or take). I went with 285/70/17 cooper tires though

after (pics are bad but you get the idea)

That looks awesome! Did you have to do additional trimming for those tires?

    Too few to list.
Looking good. 4" of lift on 885 seems to be extreme. Can you take a picture of the bottom of the coils? I'd like to see how it's seated.

I was surprised also, a half inch of that is from the new tire size. But I will take some photos of the bottom of the coils.

I agree, we need to see how the coil is seated. 885 coils should onlly give about 2.5inch max on a 2wd. Unless you moved your setting on the 5100s at .85 or 1.75 which will preload the shit out of the coil

I'll take pics of the bottom of the front coils tomorrow, but I can confirm already the 5100's are set at "0" and the ends of the coils are seated properly against the bottom bracket and not rotated.

This guy below seems to think the 5100's on double cab 4x2 will give you more than 2.5in...

In spec because the shop got it within factory specs (in the green). I had my alignment done after installing a similar lift and when I questioned why my caster numbers were lowered from 2.4/5 to 1.7/9 his reply was that it's within factory specs. The original caster was within spec also but the tech and shop settled for mediocrity. I paid a great price but it's a clear example of "paying for what you get". I'm scheduled at another shop tomorrow morning and I'm going to reiterate what I want and if they can't or don't want to do it, I'll find another shop! The best advice I can give is talk to the tech and get a feel of whether he's willing to try or settle for mediocrity. Also see if they're willing to let you see before numbers and after before they remove the sensors just in case you want better numbers.

    BTW...the truck looks great!

Not necessarily! I got 3.5" after initial install on my 4X2 PreRunner. It's only settled about 1/4" after two weeks and several hundred miles. Bottom cool clips are installed correctly at the bottom setting AND by Headstrong OffRoad. I also got about 2 1/4" on the 3-lead AAL which is supposed to be 2". A great example that every truck is different.
