To everyone running this - still happy with the results? Having a hard time deciding if this or some ditch lights would suit me better :goingcrazy:

There really isn't one, it is more of his own kind of thing.

so he makes the LED light bars? he casts the plastic out of moulds, and makes his own circuit boards? I would have thought he just buys an off the shelf one that fits.

I meant that he puts together his own kits with parts sourced from somewhere.

Here is my full install of the Amazon Kit. I ran mine through the hood with a grommet to the Overland Equipped Aux Box and to a Ch4x4 switch all wiring is explained in the video.
It's more of a fun Mod. I did not expect much lighting, but it works well.

    ^

Yeah, to make one is a lot of work. Need to design and or purchase aluminum extrusion, machined for the housing, polycarbonate / lexan / plexiglass / tempered glass or other for the lens and all of the components. I haven't seen any one person do this as the cost to do this would be a lot of money.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect him to be making them from scratch. I do recall emailing him with some questions and he said he was waiting on sourced parts.

Know this thread has been silent for quite a while but thought I’d inquire here first. Interested in a hood scoop led bar for my 2018 but reading through all the posts I’m at a dead end.....

Spartan X = looks awesome & seems highly recommended, but his last Instagram post says he’s no longer doing business.

Amazon/eBay options = all links shared are too old/no longer go to active product pages

Ideally would like something similar to why Spartan X offered that fills the full width of the scoop and could be mounted up with more than just double side tape. Don’t mind spending a little $$$ for a better quality bar from somewhere like Rigid Industries, Diode Dynamics, etc.

Does anyone know what size led bars from other manufacturers will fit or what the dimensions need to be?

    I have the Spartan one

only other one I’ve seen is the jdm one on Amazon/ eBay

could always find a small bar and diy it with a relay harness. People have also just used an led strip. People use raptor light.

    Enough for now

    Bro I got you.

Optix 17in single stack led light bar on Amazon. 17in is a great fit 18” might be too wide. The Optix one in particular was really thin and I used adhesive foam strips to position it right.

    nilight wiring harness

    Ch4x4 hood scoop switch

all together it’s less that $100

check my posts for some of the links etc.
